Biologique Recherche – even its name sounds extravagant! The company was founded by Yvan and Josette Allouche, whose vision and expertise created a revolutionary treatment method and innovative skincare products that meet every Skin Instant’s need. Aware of the importance of what they had in their hands as the line grew, they introduced their son, Doctor Philipe Allouche, to the world of formulation, craftsmanship, biology, and the study of skin. He took over the company’s legacy, inherited the formulas, and along with Rupert Schmid and Pierre-Louis Delapalme, continued the brand’s philosophy and exceeded all expectations regarding results.

How does BR differ from other brands?
What makes the BR luxury skincare line unique? Well for me, the most important aspect is its high concentration of active ingredients that are carefully chosen based on high quality and purity standards, cultivated and harvested respecting the environment! All of the substances that BR uses for their skin-improving qualities are sought in nature. This practice is used for both the development of new products and the improvement of existing ones. I was surprised to learn that each raw material that is used in their products goes through a quarantine status as soon as it enters the laboratory. Once this step is finished, the ingredient becomes part of the production process.
What is amazing about this skincare line is that it preserves all properties of the active ingredients! Each one of the products is developed in a family laboratory, in small quantities, with care and dedication. It is all about the love poured in the process! The result: natural scents that leave no one indifferent, unique textures, and high-quality products that improve all skin types! When I decided to try these products, I noticed that the effects were visible even from the first application!

The products I swear by
For my skincare routine, I do double cleanse! I first like to remove all dirt with the botanical cleansing milk Lait U. This does not only cleanse the skin and purify it, but it also treats its deficiencies at the same time, providing both hydration and nutrition. This piece of wonder will calm and regenerate it, acting as an antioxidant. It makes a very important routine step, protecting the epidermis and allowing your skin to breathe.
After my skin is clean, hydrated, and protected, it’s lotion time! The legendary P50 lotion I use contains six formulas – all with different components but with the same purpose – to improve each and every Skin Instant. Far beyond being a toner, these lotions have exfoliating, balancing, detoxifying, and pH-regulating properties. They contain active ingredients that enhance the exfoliating and purifying action on oilier skin, act as calming agents on more sensitive one, or as antioxidants and stimulants for more mature skin. Trust me; this lotion is sensational!
After I’m done preparing my skin, it is now ready to enjoy the benefits of active ingredients provided by the rest of the BR products. This means only one thing – it’s mask time!
Mask Vivant and Mask VIP O2 are most favorable for my skin, so I include them in my skincare routine. Oh, and when I am more prone to breakout, I like to put Vivant on. This one does miracles in reducing extra oils and mattifying, making my skin super healthy and fresh! VIP O2 is reserved for my winter skincare, when the effects of air pollution are most noticeable. I can almost feel how this portion of luxury goes deep into my skin cells, removing all dirt and giving my skin the oxygen it desperately needs.
I was so excited to discover that Biologique Recherche has also developed a line of multi-purpose serums. Providing hydration or an anti-aging effect, their light textures enable immediate penetration and act on each skin’s specific problems. My favorite product from this line, which I choose to include in my skincare routine, is Complexe Iribiol! This serum absorbs the excess oils and smoothes my imperfections, resulting in flawless-looking skin.
Let’s not forget the eye area when nurturing your skin! As for me, I like to use the Crème contour Des Yeux VIP O2 to match my Mask VIP O2. This eye cream lightens and diminishes dark circles, improves elasticity, and intensively hydrates – the perfect combo!
To fight against excess seborrhea, this amazing company has created the well-known Crème Dermopurifiante – a moisturizer acting both on sebum regulation and epidermis purification. It has a mattifying effect and closes the pores, so it does its magic when my skin is more acne-prone than usual.
Another cream I like to use when I need a special bright boost is Crème Pigm 400. This product is formulated to lighten dark spots and protect from new blemishes, providing luminosity to the skin.

How to achieve flawless-looking skin?
My best advice is to maintain proper facial hygiene consistently. Correct and rigorous treatment at home is the basis for achieving optimal results. Since we’re constantly exposed to the harms of the outside world, you need to start and end the day with proper skincare.
